A family that is cared for, is better able to care for themselves and their baby. Our Night Angels are here to help make the postpartum experience as smooth as possible. We help empower every family and guide them in feeling confident and assured with their new baby.
We offer non-judgmental support to all families, regardless of race, religion or identity. At Belladonna Baby, inclusivity and respect are fundamental values, upheld by both our Night Angels and our clients.
Our goal is to ensure you enjoy a restful night and allow you to truly "turn off your brain." Your Night Angel is dedicated to ensuring your baby is well-cared for while you get the rest you need.
Your Night Angel will work with you to determine how best to handle feedings, whether that involves nursing directly, pumping, or using formula. They will respect your choices and offer guidance based on your feeding goals, especially if you are undecided.
Your Night Angel is equipped to attend to your baby when they wake up due to hunger, discomfort, or a need for a diaper change. They handle diaper changes, feeding, burping, soothing, and settling your baby back to sleep using safe sleep practices, ensuring your child is always placed in their crib or bassinette alone, on their back.
After each visit, your Night Angel will share essential notes regarding feeding patterns, diaper changes, wakeful periods, and sleep durations.
Our main aim is to keep your baby safe, happy, and comfortable. If time permits, your Night Angel can also take care of additional tasks like taking care of baby laundry and cleaning bottles or pump parts.
We provide 8-12 hours of overnight care. Your angel can start as early as 7pm with an end time as late as 7am to ensure you and your family have a peaceful night's sleep.
Your Night Angel will arrive 15 minutes early for a personalized debrief with you to discuss how the day went.
Your Night Angel will attentively monitor your baby' sleeping and feedings patterns. You will be able to sleep soundly through the night while your Night Angel cares for your baby.
While your baby sleeps, your Night Angel can wash and fold baby clothes, clean bottles and pumping accessories.
Your Night Angel will always clean up after the baby during the night so there is no mess or dirty bottles from the night before.
Bottle feeding: If your baby uses formula of breast pumped milk our Night Angels will prepare bottles and feed baby.
Breast feeding: Your Night Angel will bring the baby to you or you can wake up during the night when baby typically feeds.
Your Night Angel will feed and change the baby one last time so when you wake up everything is taken care of and you can enjoy a calm morning.
At the end of every shift you will receive a written summary about feeding, sleeping, diapering and any other notable events that happened during the night. You must be awake for Night Angel to hand off care back to you before they leave.
